ramblings

Mosiah 4:27:

"And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength."

Sometimes, you feel like it is requisite. That in order to be righteous, you have to constantly be doing more things than you are even capable of and wonder, 'why on earth, I'm so exhausted.'

Then you realize that you are being stupid. Of course it is requisite for you to run faster than you have strength. At the point that all your strength is used up and you are trembling with the fact that you just can't do this any more, that is when you turn to the Lord. He will always give you things you can't handle, because, well, then you'd never lean on Him. Personally, I think being a god that couldn't help His stubbornly struggling children and could do nothing but twiddle His thumbs and watch would be boring, frankly, and pretty painful.

So give the Lord something to do: ask for help. Odds are there is no way you can make it on your own, and require the assistance of increased love and guidance. :)
